A safer Lovie: how we think about your account
Your notes and messages are some of the most personal things on your phone, so account safety matters more here than almost anywhere. We wanted to explain, in plain language, how we think about it.
Your space is private
A shared board is visible only to you and the person you share it with. There is no public profile, and nothing is posted anywhere else. What you write stays between the two of you.
Keeping accounts yours
We take reasonable steps to make sure the person signing in is really you. That includes watching for unusual sign in activity and acting on anything that looks suspicious. We would rather be a little cautious than let something slip through.
Everyday habits that help
A lot of account safety comes down to simple habits. Use a strong, unique password, keep your email secure, and sign out of devices you no longer use. In Lovie you can manage your sessions and review where you are signed in.
When something looks off
If we ever notice something unusual, our goal is to flag it quickly and keep your account in your hands. We keep the details of how that works private, but the intent is simple: protect your account, and let you keep control of it.
Our commitment
We will keep building Lovie with privacy as a default, not an add on. If you ever have a question about your account, reach out to us and we will help.
